Porsche Centre Bristol is delighted to have announce their first Destination Charging partner, Berwick Lodge. The Boutique Hotel now has two electric car chargers installed on site for guests to charge their electric cars.
After the launch of the Taycan, Porsche are creating a number of charging locations for owners to charge their Taycan in places that they love. The Destination Charging Programme will enable Porsche Centres to partner with local luxury establishments to install a charging network for the battery-powered vehicles.
Berwick Lodge are thrilled to be a part of the programme alongside Porsche Centre Bristol. The partnership involves many fantastic benefits for the hotel, they have already received two Porsche Design EV chargers and will also be added as a charging stop on the Porsche Navigation system.
Through the programme luxury venues, such as Berwick Lodge, will be able to offer EV charging to their customers and visitors as the 7kW or 11kW chargers are compatible with most types of Electric Vehicle that use a Type 2 charging plug.
Berwick Lodge is situated close to junction 17 of the M5 motorway and is a short drive to Bristol city centre. The Owner of Berwick Lodge, Sarah Arikan, is thrilled to be involved with the programme to encourage zero emissions mobility, support a local business and support the environment.
The Destination Charging Programme is currently being rolled out across the UK with selected venues over the coming months. If you are interested in becoming a partner of the Porsche Destination Charging Programme, we would love to hear from you.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
